Sports Time
Sporting events here are HUGE. Imagine an entire country behind one team. The energy is overwhelming. One really fun way to mingle with the locals is by going to a local venue to watch the game. Places everywhere are packed! Tonight was the football (soccer) match between Italy and Spain.

Day Trip to Lago Como, Bellagio, and Varenna
Today was a day trip to Lago (Lake) Como and surrounding areas. It’s about an hour north of Milan by train. Once in Como, one can easily reach nearby towns such as Lecco, Varenna, and Bellagio by ferry.
