I met Joëlle to better prepare for my first trip to Paris. Her love for Paris was so contagious and hearing how she loves the culture, food and the Parisian people made me look forward to my trip.
I had the most delightful time in Paris and sent pictures of our experience of Paris to share with Joëlle. She saw Paris through our eyes and the memories lives on in our hearts.

Absolutely amazing experience! Meeting with Joëlle in Paris made my trip so memorable with visits to local museums, enjoying lunches at the Luxembourg Gardens, strolling around Saint Germain des Pres, night hangout at Eiffel Tower, walking along the Seine River and a fantastic day trip to Champagne Region, and much more enjoyable moments. I met Joelle years ago, connecting over our love for all things French. I was delighted last summer when we were able to meet in Paris. Joelle’s dinner choice revealed her deep knowledge of the City of Light. The Parisian restaurant, located in her beloved “sixième” arrondissement, offered classic bistro cuisine and enchanting decor within a stunning art nouveau building. I cannot say enough positive things about Joelle and her love and enthusiasm for traveling. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Europe and France in particular. Her level of knowledge is only matched by the generosity with which she shares her knowledge with her fellow travelers. Years ago, the first time my family went to Europe, we wanted to go from Paris to Versailles. We felt a little intimidated by it, so we asked Joelle. She gave us precise and detailed instructions that were easy to follow. To me, having Joelle as a guide in Paris would be like having the female version of Rick Steves in person!

A second time, before traveling to France, Joelle sat with my husband and me and helped us design the best itinerary for the number of days we had for our trip. The depth of her geographical and historical knowledge of the area along with her knowledge of the culture and language makes Joelle the best guide for Paris and surroundings. Her gentle nature and respectful attitude are encouraging and her enthusiasm for traveling is contagious. Big, big bonus: Joelle is so knowledgeable about wines, that she should be a sommelier.
