After several hours spent holiday shopping at the bustling Lenox Square in Atlanta, having a glass of wine in a cozy wine bar was the perfect way to take a pause on this cool and rainy afternoon. Yebo, which I learned can be translated to mean, “Hey, how’s it going?” in Zulu, is located just across the street from Lenox Square at Phipps Plaza. What’s unique about this place is the wine list highlights wines from South Africa. There’s a good variety of the region’s red wines made with the pinotage, syrah, and cabernet sauvignon grapes and white wines made of chenin blanc, sauvignon blanc, and chardonnay grapes. Small plates featuring cuisine from South Africa are also available with recommendations made by the staff to pair with the region’s wine.
