Captiva & Sanibel Islands

Captiva and Sanibel Islands are two of the most beautiful destinations in the Southwest Florida area. They are only a short distance from one another, just across the bridge. My family lives in Florida and together we visited both as a day trip from Miami. But easily Captiva and Sanibel are great places to visit over the course of multiple days as there are numerous sights and attractions, water activities, nature and wildlife, shelling, dining and shopping. And if you just want to lay around on the beach all day with a book, you can do that too!
