Exploring Enomatic at Vino Venue
The first time I heard of the Enomatic was while travel planning for the Tuscan region of Italy. There were so many wine destinations I had in mind to visit- Chianti, Montepulciano, Montalcino, San Gimignano, and several others in between. But I knew in the time that I had, there was…
Barcelona Wine Bar (Inman Park)
If you’ve ever dreamed of experiencing Spain’s tapas culture, beautiful people, charcutería, and best of all amazing Spanish wines, well have no worries because you don’t have to go too far. Atlanta’s first suburb, Inman Park, is home to Barcelona Wine Bar, which offers all of the above to the community and visitors alike.
Graft: Food.Wine.Community
When I heard from Leslie Maske, shopkeeper at the former Niko’s Wine Corner in Historic Lawrenceville, that a new wine bar would be coming soon to Grayson, I felt immediate skepticism, but at the same time was intrigued. I thought, “hmmmm…wine bar in Gwinnett County, GA? A community where it wasn’t until recently that wine shops could even exist? Port Wine Tasting in Oporto
Porto (also called Oporto) is an absolutely charming destination in the northern provinces of Portugal. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect prior to my arrival, but was pleasantly surprised by its beauty, friendly people and very lively atmosphere. In fact when we arrived, there was a huge festival taking place with fireworks and concerts…

Jerez de la Frontera (pronounced He-reh), is a city I actually had never heard of until planning for a trip to Spain with my friends, Corey and Doreen. We were on the way to Morocco from Seville while on summer vacation. Prior to our departure to Spain…
Côtes du Rhône Wine Road
The South of France! To me this place is like heaven on earth. It has everything I absolutely love- palm trees, sunny blue skies, beaches, the Mediterranean Sea, cafés, friendly people, and exquisite seafood. Like here in the U.S., the lifestyle in the south is more casual and relaxed than in the fast-paced northern cities. This is unmistakably where…
Loire Valley
Situated less than 2 hours southwest of Paris, this beautiful region along the Loire River makes for a great destination to visit while in France. There are many grand châteaux with delightful gardens that are open to the public. Clos Lucé, former home of Leonardo da Vinci, is also open for tours and is within…
Talking about Champagne
Everybody knows that celebratory sound of the popping of a Champagne cork. It’s one of those things that whenever you hear it, you automatically envision lots of tiny bubbles, the cling-cling sound of Champagne glasses, and smiles and laughter somewhere nearby. But one thing that many people do not know is that not every bubbly is Champagne…
