Québec City

My Canada trip continues with Via Rail, destination Québec City from Montréal…

Bienvenue à Québec!

Parliament Hill was where we stayed and it was literally up a hill! But it was a really cool neighborhood…

One thing that I do routinely when traveling is I go to a local market to help me get situated in my Airbnb. America’s oldest store J.A. Moisan Épicierie was the ideal place to pick up prepared dishes, bread/ pastries, fine chocolates, wine, coffee & tea, and other delightful treats to have at the apartment.

Cantook Cafe, the nieghborhood coffee shop was right up my alley!

Porte St. Jean (St. John Gate) is the gateway to Québec’s Old Town…

A peek inside Château Frontenac…

Château Frontenac, a Fairmont Hotel, has a wine and cheese happy hour that is open to the public. The chef prepares cheese plates to accompany selections from the wine list.

More of the old town…

Until next time, à la prochaine !
