Wine Tasting in Munich
While in Munich, I was able to visit several different bars for wine tasting. These were some of my favorites…
Vintage Selection– Westermühlstraße 39, 80469, München- A true neighborhood wine bar that specializes in wines from Germany. Great place for the German wine tasting experience.
Aquitane Vinotheque– Maxvorstadt, Theresienstraße 19, 80333, München- A French wine bar located in the city centre
Bodega Dali– Tengstraße 6, 80798, München- This Spanish wine and tapas bar is found inside a cellar and serves tapas, main dishes and paella. There’s terrace seating when the weather is nice and the Dali theme throughout adds to the stylish and rustic decor.
These next two rooftop bars, while they are not exclusively wine bars, are nice places to have a glass with a view.
Mandarin Oriental– Altstadt-Lehel, Neuturmstraße 1, 80331 München
Blue Spa Bar- Promenadepl. 2-6, 80333 München (inside the Hotel Bayerischer Hof)
Just downstairs of the same building is Falk’s bar, one of the most amazing bars I have seen. It’s located in the famous hall of mirrors dating back to 1839, the only room at Hotel Bayerischer Hof to survive the Second World War unscathed. The interiors look like a palace!
