Musée du Vin
Can you imagine an entire museum dedicated to wine? The Musée du Vin or Wine Museum in Paris is all about that. It is located in what used to be the cellars of the 14th century Abbey of Passy. Pretty cool, huh? There’s all kinds of well-preserved ancient tools and other objects that were commonly used throughout the evolution of wine. The notes about which regions were known for certain items are fun to look at too. At the end of the visit, you’ll have a wine tasting of up to 3 different wines, depending on the package selected at the door. But honestly the wines aren’t that great and aren’t worth the upgraded admission fees. Other than that, the self-guided tour is very nice… an enjoyable outing for anyone who is into wine. Wine education classes are also held in English periodically. So check the website for details!
